My greatest “take home” concept from when I attended the Education Congress in Rome, was that of my responsibility as school leader to go out to the periphery, and then to look OUTwards. So often, we look inwards, solely focusing on clarifying the mission within our own community.
The challenge by Pope Francis is that we, with the strength of our school communities behind us, spread our mission to the greater community. The world needs us!
Today’s goal: Lord, grant me the courage to step forward and to look out.
